I am making some progress, but not there yet.

What I found thus far:

He left Israel in the early 1950s, traveling on a Palestinian passport (see previous posts for explanation).

Michael’s first record of entry to the USA is dated 1954.

He lived in New Jersey and married Rose Kasin, who had three children from a previous marriage. Rose and Michael did not have children together.

 This is Rose in the attached picture, together with her son Peter (born to Rose and Noah Kasin). Peter was killed in a mountain climbing accident. The picture is taken from a short movie called Looking Forward by filmmaker Steven Ascher, Rose’s grandson.

Michael died in 1964, at the age of 62. We found a picture of his tombstone (see attached). True to his engineering training, the gravestone proclaims: The Man Who Loved Excellence.
